Product Returns Policy
We have created this policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances. We understand that may wish to return a product to us. This policy shall apply to all of our customers, irrespective of their geographical location. This document does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer such as the 2008 Qatar Consumer Protection Law and the 2010 Decree Law on the Promulgation of the Electronic Commerce and Transactions Law. This policy shall apply to all order submitted through eQatar.com shopping platform.
All the products are tested and inspected before shipping by our inspection team and had a verified test stamp, in order to make sure our customers receive the best and high-quality products.
Under the 2008 Qatar Consumer Protection Law you have the right to return a product or ask for a replacement, if a defect is discovered in the product or if the product is unfit for its purpose or not as described. You have ten (10) days from the discovery of the defect, to notify us by written email () that you intend to be refunded or ask for a replacement.
The SHIPPING COST WILL BE BORNE BY THE BUYER, if a buyer is liable to return the product as per the Article No.2.
Please note that under this policy you do not have any other right to return the product, ask for a replacement or otherwise rescind the contract, except in the case mentioned at Article No.2.
We ship items to selected countries, and from several locations. Shipments may incur customs fees or duties depending on the destination country. The price may vary depending on your order value, country limits, and other factors based on the product itself. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for these fees. No product can be returned for the sole reason that you were not aware of the customs fees or duties associated with it.
If you return a product in contravention of this policy, and you do not have any other legal right to a refund or exchange in respect of that product, we will not refund the purchase price or exchange the product.
The following types of product may not be returned under this policy.
- food, drink, and any other products liable to deteriorate easily.
- dvd’s, cd’s and other audio or video or audio-visual recordings.
- computer software (whether on cd & dvd rom or otherwise)
- newspapers, periodicals, magazines or similar products
- toiletries and cosmetics
- any product made to your specification
- any product made to order
- any product personalized or adapted for you
- gift vouchers
the supply of products the price of which is dependent upon fluctuations in financial markets which we cannot control.
We will give you a refund for the price you paid to us in respect of any product properly returned by you under this policy. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days following the day we receive your returned product.
To take advantage of your rights under this policy, you must contact us to obtain a return authorization number, and then send the product to us with a covering note quoting that number, within seven (7) days from your initial email when you notified us of the issue. Products returned under this policy must be sent by tracked courier agency to our address.
